Stage 9: Demonstration and evaluation

After you have invested time and effort in your carbon saving measures you need to be sure that the reporting structure is accurate. Increasing legislation demands precise measurement, which is crucial when working out rewards for example in the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) and, for local authorities, National Indicator (NI) 186.

LCIC has extensive experience in evaluating third party carbon reduction schemes. The CRed System is, as far as we are aware, the only carbon pledge system that has success factors (SF) built in to its core and gives an accurate picture of individuals’ actual carbon saving activities rather than simply stating the intended savings.
