Renewable Energy

Stage 7: Decarbonising power supplies

Having reduced your energy consumption through demand reduction and efficiency measures, the next step is to decarbonise your power supply. LCIC has invested in renewable energy innovations and is well placed to advise on the latest developments in this growing sector.

Service: Renewable Energy Advice

The University of East Anglia will open, in early 2010, the UK’s most efficient power plant. Operating at 84% efficiency the biomass gasifier Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant will reduce the university’s carbon emissions by a third, a reduction of 74% on 1990 levels. LCIC can offer the CHP plant as a whole solution or act as consultants on existing plans.
