LCIC helps businesses EVOLVE

The Low Carbon Innovation Centre is pleased to announce its involvement in the EVOLVE programme, which aims to support individuals and SMEs in Norfolk through the recession and help them into a stronger position as the economy recovers.

Amongst a variety of offerings available, LCIC is delivering a number of short courses in ‘Carbon Management’ and are running a ‘Carbon Change Agents’ programme. These are but a few of the courses, events and programmes being delivered by a variety of Higher Education establishments, in Norfolk.

The University of East Anglia, Norwich University College of the Arts, and Norwich City College are working together to support individuals in

• identifying and developing relevant skills and career prospects
• preventing further redundancies and business closures through improved performance
• increasing the prospects of a more rapid return to work
• helping SMEs to be more innovative, efficient and successful in a future economy

Target groups include

• middle managers who have been made redundant
• middle mangers at risk of redundancy
• recent unemployed or under employed graduates
• SMEs and specifically the owners and directors
• Third sector organisations
