200 Farms

Project Summary

Lawrence Gould Partnership Ltd. and Natural England, who provided the funding, required the first detailed study of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from English farms, showing the variation across farm types and locations.

The results for each farm were arranged so that the principal sources of emissions were identified and explained together with actions that the farmers might take to reduce emissions.

This project was carried out by UEA and the CRed carbon reduction team, now part of LCIC, before the incorporation of LCIC in 2008.
